چکیده
The study of diamond surfaces is traditionally undertaken in geology and materials science. As a sample material, two natural crystals type Ia were selected, their luminescence nitrogen state was characterized. In order to etch the surface catalytic hydrogenation performed using Fe particles as an etchant. Micromorphology investigated by scanning electron laser confocal microscopy. It demonstrated that etching occurred perpendicular crystal surface, with no signs tangential etching. average depth caverns did not exceed 20–25 μm maximal 40 μm. concluded diamonds effective produce porous can be used composites or substrate material. Additionally, comparison results microsculptures observed on impact from Popigai astrobleme revealed strong resemblance.

heteropoly acids (hpa) and their salts have advantages as catalysts which make them both economically and environmentally attractive, strong br?nsted acidity, exhibiting fast reversible multi-electron redox transformations under rather mild conditions, very high solubility in polar solvents, fairly high thermal stability in the solid states, and efficient oxidizing ability, so that they are imp...
15 صفحه اولOrientation dependent surface stabilization on flame deposited diamond single crystals
In this study a model for the orientation dependent surface stabilization of diamond grown from the vapour phase is presented. The model is based on a first order broken bond analysis of the diamond crystal with additional considerations about surface reconstruction by dimer formation. Due to the formation of dimers, surface stabilization is expected for orientations corresponding to Miller ind...
متن کاملCatalytic Hydrogenation of Benzoic Acid
Hydrogenation of benzoic acid using monoand bimetallic catalyst of Ru, Pd, Co, and Re yielded different products. It was observed that 5% Ru/C was an active catalyst for hydrogenation of both aromatic ring and carboxylic group, while Pd/C catalyst hydrogenated only aromatic ring. Ru-Sn/Al2O3 is a chemoselective catalyst for hydrogenation of –COOH group of benzoic acid.
